We were asked by one of our existing clients to distribute leaflets promoting their new business. This business is a fresh concept in the takeaway delivery business by including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks with food.

We worked with our client to identify the areas where the menus were to be distributed. A few areas were chosen to enable us to manage the distribution over a number of weeks.
Distributing leaflets and menus over an extended period of time is an effective way to promote your business. This is because is gradually introduces the new service, product and/or brand to the target audience. It also means that the number of enquiries that are generated are more controlled so that they are able to manage the orders that are generated.
We have software and other systems that allow us to map any area and calculate the number of houses in that area. This means that we are able to work to our client’s specific requirements.
The result was that we created a number of boundaries. This sort of boundary distribution requires careful management. It also means that we need to keep track of what areas was done and when. The allows us to manage the overall distribution over time. It also helps our client as they can check response rates per area. Working this way allows them to adjust the distribution based on results.
We used our GPS tracking software to check that the correct area has been distributed to. This also ensured that all of the streets and residences in the area had been covered. In addition, we used this GPS map to report the client. This showed clearly where their leaflet had been distributed to.
