We recently completed the distribution of the distribution of a leaflet on behalf of the Barrhead Business Improvement District Project. The leaflet was distributed to all residences and business in Barrhead and introduced a 10 year plan for change. This includes new housing, commercial and industrial developments as well as improvements to the leisure and infrastructure which will sustain the reputation of Barrhead as ‘Scotland’s best small town’.
The leaflet was in the form of a newsletter, folded in half to a 4 page newsletter and opening vertically showing a map of id the Business Improvement District. It also asks the local people to support the town centre by getting involved in various project in the forthcoming years.
In addition to explaining the project, the leaflet promoted a ‘Leave Your Car at Home Day’ which is being held on 17th September. As part of this initiative, and to encourage people to visit the town centre, they are holding a number of events on the day, including guided walks, free bike checks, street entertainment and much more.
Further information about the project and the events can be found at the all about Barrhead website as well as social media.
Ian Brown, the MD of 2112 Direct Marketing said “We are please to have been asked to play a small part in the project as I have been ‘visiting’ Barrhead for 11 years as we practice Aikido in the sports centre 2-3 time per week”.
