The leaflet promoting Beds Shawlands was distributed in Giffnock, Clarkston, Busby and Thornliebank.
We had already designed this leaflet so we used the original design and printed it. As before, we used a folded leaflet. This is a good way to keep the design clean while to allow more information to be provided. It also ensures that the finished size was A5. This is a good, manageable, size for a leaflet
The leaflet was printed on 150gsm stock. This is a slightly lighter stock than we normally recommend. The folded leaflet helped as the finished quality of the paper is better than 150gsm.
Since we distributed their leaflets in the area before, it was important to continue from where we left off. The fact that we keep maps from every leaflet distribution job that we do helped to identify where to start this distribution.
We used our generic demographic data to identify the best areas to target. This allowed us to create maps of the areas the leaflets were to be distributed to.
Using our GPS tracking information ensured that we were able to keep track of the distribution. This allowed us to manage the distribution to new areas as the leaflet distribution progressed. It also enabled us to keep the client informed of our progress and to monitor the response rates.
Measuring response rates is an important aspect of ensuring that you get the best results from your leaflet distribution campaigns. Understanding when and where the leaflets were distributed is an important part of this process as it enables you to track any changes in enquiries or sales vs when the leaflets are distributed.
