We recently distributed booklets and vouchers for Body & Mind Salon in Milngavie and Bearsden.
This was the second distribution that we have done for the salon. The results from their first leaflet distribution was very positive so we worked with the owner to identify the best places to distribute their brochures based on our previous experience and a profile of their existing customers.
Using information gained from previous leaflet distribution campaigns as well as details of existing customers (customer analysis) is by far the best way to identify the best areas to distribute leaflets in order to improve the chances of getting a good response from your leaflet distribution. For further information see “How to use Results from Previous Leaflet Distribution Campaigns to help new Campaigns“.
The main challenge that we had with this distribution was that the brochure was very well put together and, as a result, was quite heavy. This meant that out distributors could not carry a large number with them at one time and we had to resupply them on a regular basis.
The other challenge was that many of the houses in Milngavie are older and are set well of the road. This slows down the distribution as the distributors have to walk further to delver to each to house.
Despite these challenges, the distribution was completed on time and within budget and most importantly, our client was happy with the results.
