As part of their Neighbourhoods and Sustainability project that focuses on improving traffic management and the introduction of cycle lanes to encourage people to cycle more.
The leaflet was inviting residents in the local area to an online and walk-in event to engage with the local community on the proposed extension to the South-West City Way.
We were given a very specific area in which to distribute the leaflets, including a list of the streets that we had to deliver to. We used this information to create a map of the distribution area. Out distributors used both the map and the list of streets to ensure that they delivered the leaflets to the correct area.
In addition to distributing the leaflets, we were asked to deliver posters to specific public locations, such as community halls, health centres, etc.
Since this was an invitation to a public consultation, it was very important that we were able to prove that we delivered the leaflets and posters to the designated areas and locations. Our GPS tracking system enabled us to provide our client with a map showing exactly where their leaflets were distributed to. In addition, we provided them with a list of addresses where we could not deliver their leaflet, along with the reason for the non-delivery.
This was not an issue for us as these are part of our standard reporting procedures, which is why we are the preferred distributor for many PR and Public Information jobs.
Our client was please with the work that we had done, saying “As always, great service!”.
