We continued our ongoing relationship with Glasgow City Council by delivering community engagement leaflets in selected parts of the Mount Vernon and Baillieston areas of the East Side of Glasgow.
The leaflet that we distributed was advising local residents about an on-line consultation, as well as walk-in events to seek people’s opinion about a proposed project to improve pedestrian and cycling facilities in the area.
Our client provided us with a detailed map of the area into which they wanted us to distribute their leaflets. This sort of boundary distribution is something that we excel at because we have software that allows us to mark maps with lines that enable us to draw the boundaries. These maps are then used by our leaflet distributors when they are working on the leaflet distribution job.
This particular job was made slightly more difficult as only one side of the street was to be delivered to in some sections of the distribution boundary. While this may sound simple, it does require a high degree of attention to detail, both in creating the distribution map and on the part of our distributors who have to understand these requirements and also be aware of where they are on the map and be able to translate that information on the ground.
We completed the job within the agreed timescale and kept within the defined boundary and our client was very please with our work, saying “Excellent Service on the East City Way leaflet distribution”.
