We recently distributed a newsletter entitled ‘Govanhill Update’ which gave news from Nicola Sturgeon MSP as well as local councillors.
The newsletter was distributed to people living in the Langside area of Glasgow.
This was what we call a ‘Boundary Distribution’ where we distribute within the confines of a very specifically defined boundary. In this case it was the boundaries set by the G42-7 and G42-8 postal districts.
The newsletter gave local residents an update on the work that is being done to tackle the issues in Govanhill, giving information on the actions being taken as well as where more action is required.
The distribution job was fairly straightforward. The main difficulties were gaining access to the tenements buildings which are prominent in the area. We have been distributing leaflets and other marketing materials in and around Glasgow for over seven years and are, therefore, used to dealing with gaining access to these building. Indeed, we pride ourselves on ensuring that we not only gain access but also deliver to every individual letterbox in the building.
The distribution was completed on time with only a minimal number of non-deliveries, ensuring that the people of Govanhill received this important newsletter.
It is with regret that we have taken the decision to close our offices and suspend Leaflet Distribution until further notice.
We have taken this decision to protect our staff, clients and the general public from the spread of the Coronavirus.
We apologies for any inconvenience that this may cause.
Our Leaflet Distribution Service will resume as soon as we deem it to be safe to do so.
