Having worked with Hamilton College for a many years, we were asked to distribute their ‘What’s My Story’ leaflets which is a campaign promoting a holistic approach to education where they focus on teaching the person, not just the subjects. In addition, they are promoting the exam success rate of Hamilton College which is 15% higher than the national average and also with a 100% pass rate at Advanced Higher.
We used information that was gathered in a demographic analysis of their ‘customers’ to target areas where people who are most like their existing customers live. We did this by using the postcodes of existing pupils which enabled us to run a socio-demographic profile on the data. This gave us the demographic breakdown of their customers which enabled us to plot on a map were people who are most like their existing ‘customers’ live.
The leaflets, which were printed on good quality 250gsm stock, were distributed to the most relevant locations in each area. This strategy worked well as out client was very please with the results, receiving a number of enquiries as a result of the leaflet distribution.
