We distributed an invitation to a public exhibition relating to improving housing choices for older people in Milngavie. The invitation set out details of a proposal to develop housing on land within the town.
The distribution was time-sensitive and had to be delivered to a very specific area within Milngavie. In addition it was, as with many Public Information jobs, of a relatively sensitive nature.
We have a great deal of experience working in the fields of Public Relations and Public Information and were, therefore, used to distributing this type of material and managing this type of distribution. The distribution was based on a pre-defined distance or radius from a central point (the area where the proposed development is to take place) and had to be delivered to both residential properties and businesses. The fact that it was based on a radius made it slightly awkward as the distribution area cut across a few streets. Our experience of this type of leaflet distribution meant that we were able to cope with this job and we completed the distribution on time and in the correct areas.
