Having worked with a number of community organisations over the past months and years, we were pleased to have been asked to print and distribute leaflets for the Kildrum Community Council.
The leaflet gives information on what the work that the community council does to help resolve concerns and complaints in the local area. To this end it asked local residents to raise any concerns and make make any suggestions that they have. It also listed the dates of the next six public meetings, inviting people to attend if the want to.
In addition to this information, the leaflet also introduced the Cumbernauld Cottage Trust which is a community group who are working to establish the potential of securing the Cumbernauld Theater building as a community asset.
The leaflet distribution area was defined by our client and was very specific since it was the area represented by the community council. The meant that this was effectively a boundary distribution where we had to distribute the leaflets within a specific area or boundary.
We used the information about the leaflet distribution area that our client provided to create a map in our mapping software. Our leaflet distributors use these maps to ensure that they deliver the leaflets to the correct area.
Once the leaflets were distributed we used our GPS tracking system to check that they had been delivered to all of the residences in the selected area.
