Having work with David Lloyd in Renfrew and Anniesland for many years, we recently asked to distributed leaflets for their Rouken Glen club which is located close to Newton Mearns and Thornliebank.
The leaflet which was entitled “Seize This Weekend” was promoting a free high-tech assessment that provides 14 different body statistics as well as promoting the club.
Our client wanted to target the new housing estates that are being build in Newton Mearns and Darnley with the leaflet distribution to make the new residents aware of the club.
In general, the difficulty with distributing leaflets in areas where new housing estates are being built is that we don’t know how many houses are in the areas and we also do not know the layout of the streets – i.e. we don’t have a map of the area.
Fortunately in this instance we have distributed to these areas before so we had a good idea of both the number of properties and the layout of the streets. For further information, read our article entitled “How do you control leaflet distribution to new housing estates where there is no map of the area“.
