Having previously distributed leaflets for The High School of Glasgow, we had the information that we had obtained from a demographic analysis on their existing customers. This gave us a demographic profile of their clients and, therefore, type of people who are most likely to attend the school.
The leaflets were distributed to targeted areas within Bearsden, Milngavie, Bishopton, as well as areas in the West-End and South-Side of Glasgow. The targeted areas were identified using the demographic information that matched the demographic types of their ideal clients. This was done by using our mapping software to plot the postcodes of the relevant demographic types.
Once the leaflet distribution areas had been located, we used our specialist software to calculate the number of houses in each on the areas. This allowed us to work our how many leaflets the client would need.
The leaflets were promoting virtual open days, which was the only why that the school could give prospective pupils and their parents a tour of the school due to the restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
This innovative approach showed that it is possible to promote your services even during a world-wide pandemic.
Since the leaflet was promoting an open day, we had to distribute it in good time before the date of the events.
We distributed the leaflets in good time and to the correct areas, providing our client with a GPS map showing the areas that their leaflets were distributed to.
