The area comprises of mostly the G46-6 and G46-7 post code districts. A demographic analysis of these postcode districts shows that over 80% of the population fall into the A, B and C demographic categories. This means that the area is largely made up of relatively affluent middle-aged and older people with professional occupations. You should take this into account when considering leaflet distribution in Giffnock and Thornliebank.
The Giffnock area is make up of fairly large traditional sandstone houses which means that they are often widely spaced with long driveways. From a leaflet distribution perspective, this means that is takes longer to distribute leaflets in these areas and, consequently, it increases the costs as leaflet distributers can not deliver as many per day as they would normally be able to achieve.
The area has a number of good road links to neighbouring Glasgow, Paisley and East Kilbride. The proximity of the M77 Motorway offers superb links to Glasgow and Edinburgh as well as Kilmarnock and Ayr.
It is with regret that we have taken the decision to close our offices and suspend Leaflet Distribution until further notice.
We have taken this decision to protect our staff, clients and the general public from the spread of the Coronavirus.
We apologies for any inconvenience that this may cause.
Our Leaflet Distribution Service will resume as soon as we deem it to be safe to do so.
