Having recently distributed leaflets for Desirable Paving & Driveways in the Newton Mearns area of Glasgow, we were asked to design a new leaflet before printing and distributing it in Clarkston, Giffnock and East Kilbride.
The redesign was done because we felt that the market that their target market is sceptical about companies who offer these services because there are so many poor quality companies operating in the market. Consequently, it was important to ensure that the new leaflet helped differentiate them from their competitors.
We did this by ensuring that we were able to enable our client to showcase their work and client testimonials while keeping the design of the outside clean so that their offer is more prominent and the work they do is more obvious.
We achieved this by creating a folded leaflet with a poster style inside. This is the first time that we have used this technique and spent a lot of time working on the layout to ensure that people could see examples of the quality and variety of work that they do.
The leaflets, which were printed on good quality 170gsm paper to reflect the quality of the service that they provide, were distributed to areas that we targeted using our generic demographics. In addition we did not distribute to flats or apartments (for obvious reasons) in order to ensure that we did not waste leaflets unnecessarily as wells a increasing the chances of getting a good response.
