The area into which we distributed the leaflets was chosen by our client who used her local knowledge to identify the areas that she thought would be best suited for these leaflets. We helped by providing an area map that showed the postal districts in the area.
We used our Regional Analysis System, to calculate the number of residences were located within the chosen area. This information was used to ensure that the number of houses in the distribution area matched the number of leaflets that our client wanted to distribute.
The leaflet distribution area contained a some new housing estates, some of which was still being built. The fact that we have previously distributed leaflets to some of this area meant that we had GPS tracks and , therefore, a map, of some of the areas where the new housing was built. We also had a reasonable idea of the number of houses that where in these new areas. This, along with our GPS tracking of the distribution, helped to ensure that all of the residences in the chosen area were distributed to.
In addition to specifying the areas into which the leaflets were to be distributed, our client also asked use to miss our some specific streets. We were able to do this by marking the relevant streets on the leaflet distribution map and instructing our distributors no to deliver to those streets.
