We completed a leaflet distribution for the David Lloyd Club in Anniesland in the West End of Glasgow. The leaflets were distributed to parts of Bearsden, Anniesland, Scotstoun, as well as other selected areas in the West End of Glasgow. Since the leaflet was promoting a 14-day family pass to the club during the summer school holidays with lots of activities available for all of the family, we targeted areas where families were likely to live.
We used our demographic profiling system to identify where families who fell into their ideal customer category were most likely to live and distributed their leaflets to those areas.
This was a combination of generic demographic targeting as well as demographic analysis as we use information about their client base to locate the general areas into which the leaflets could be distributed and then used our own information about where families are most likely to live to further narrow the target areas.
This type of very precise targeting is by far the best way to run a leaflet distribution campaign as it is most likely to generate the best level of response as we are distributing leaflets to areas where people who are most likely to be interested in the service live.
This proved to be the case was the feedback from our client was very positive, saying that they got a great response to the leaflet distribution and gained a lot of new business from it.
