Leaflets Distributed promoting offers for Specsdirect2u for all of their shops.
We distributed leaflets for Specsdirect2u, an optician with shops in Cambuslang as well as the Duke St and Tollcross areas of Glasgow. The leaflet was promoting their special offers on glasses.
Our client wanted to distribute their leaflets to the whole of Cambuslang, as well as some adjacent areas. They also wanted to distribute it within a radius of their Duke Street and Tollcross shops. This effectively created two different types of leaflet distribution – a boundary distribution distribution and a radius distribution. We worked with the client to create a map for each of the distribution areas.
We used our specialised software to calculate the number of residences within the boundary. We also used this system to work out the radius from each shop where we could distribute the specific number of leaflets that they had.
Our client wanted the distribution to be spread our over a number of weeks to ensure that they could manage the new new enquiries generated by that leaflet distribution.
This meant that we had to carefully manage the leaflet distribution, keeping track of where we had distributed their leaflets. Working this way ensured we did not miss anything. We used our mapping software and GPS systems to keep track of what had been done. This also ensured that all of the relevant areas had been done correctly.
The fact that we are committed to totally transparent reporting means that we tell our clients where we can’t gain access and why. As a result our clients always know where we have and have not delivered their leaflets.
