We recently completed a leaflet distribution on behalf of Kelvinside Academy who are based in the West End of Glasgow. This was the most recent on a number of leaflet distribution jobs that we have completed for the school.
This distribution was slightly more challenging as it involved delivering two leaflets, one promoting their nursery ad the other promoting their Assessment day.
The areas that we distributed to were carefully chosen based on a demographic analysis that we carried out on where their existing pupils live. Our demographic analysis was based on postcodes only so there are no issues relating to personal confidentiality of data protection.
The information obtained from this analysis enabled us to map where existing pupils live and to also identify areas where people who are most like their existing pupils live.
Targeted Leaflet Distribution is the most effective method of obtaining good response rates. This is because the leaflets are being delivered to people who are most likely to be interested in having their children attend the school.
In order to maximise the exposure and ensure that as may areas as possible were targeted, the leaflets were distributed over a relatively wide area, ranging from The West End of Glasgow to the South Side to Lenzie and Kilmacolm.
This meant that we had to manage the leaflet distribution quite carefully and it had to be planned in such a way as we ensure that each area was completed in the most efficient way possible.
