We were asked to distribute leaflets by a PetVets, who are a vet based at Brown Egg Farm in Inchinnan near Paisley.
As can be seen, the leaflet design was quite plain with good use of images and minimal text. This can be a good design, especially when it is a service where it is clear that services are on offer. In this case the use of people gave the ‘feel’ of a human connection which builds trust – a very important factor when trusting a vet to look after your pet.
The fact that the leaflet had offers was also an example of good design as it provided a call to action, as well as enabling the client to measure response rates, which is a very important aspect of any leaflet distribution or marketing campaign.
The leaflets were distributed to a very specific area that was defined by our client. While we offer demographic analysis and help client find the most appropriate areas to distribute their leaflets, sometimes our clients want to use their local knowledge to identify the areas themselves. This was the case with this leaflet distribution in Paisley where our client gave us a map of the area where they wanted their leaflets distributed.
We used this information, along with our mapping software to created a map of the distribution area. This is the map that our leaflet distributors used to keep track of the leaflet distribution. It also enables us to plot a detailed GPS map showing the exact streets that we delivered their leaflet to, thus making sure that the client’s leaflets were distributed to the correct areas.
