We recently completed a second leaflet distribution in Glasgow City Centre for The Club Gym which is located in the City Centre at 50 Glassford Street in the Merchant City area of Glasgow.
The main purpose of the leaflet distribution was to introduce their 2017 New Year offer, as well as to continue to raise awareness of the gym in the local vicinity. We used a Radius Distribution where, as the name suggests, the leaflets were distributed within a specific distance from the gym although we skewed the area towards the east side of the city to include the residences around Glasgow Green.
We used our distribution software to calculate how large a radius we could distributed to with the number of leaflets that were given to us by the client. This area was then mapped using our mapping software which was used by our distributers to completed the leaflet distribution.
The main challenge with distributing leaflets in Glasgow City Centre is that all of the buildings are apartments which slows the distribution up a little since we have to take time to gain access to the properties, all of which have a secure door entry system.
It is our strict Leaflet Distribution Policy is to always deliver to every letterbox which means that in apartment buildings we deliver to every apartment, no matter how big the building is.
In addition we provided our client with a detailed report showing the exact area that we distributed their leaflets to and listing the address of properties that we could not gain access to.
Our client was happy with the results of the distribution and with the fact that we had managed to not only identify the area closest to the club, but also managed to gain access to the vast majority of the properties in the area.
