Having previously distributed leaflets this client for his takeaway, the Taj Mahal, in Irvine we were asked to do a leaflet distribution for his new takeaway, Flames Tandoori in Hillhouse area of Hamilton.
The main purpose was to raise awareness that the takeaway, which was previously called Shimla Village, had been bought over and the name had been changed. In addition the leaflet took the form of a menu with a wide variety of options from both Indian and European cuisine. The menu also gave various offers and special meal deals.
We used a radius distribution to distribute their leaflets a radius from the location of the shop. The exact distance form the shop was based on the number of menus that they wanted to distribute. We used our ‘RAD’ software to work out the number of residences with various distances from the shop until be found the distance that matched the number of menus that they wanted us to deliver.
In addition to using the radius distribution, we also checked the drive time zone from the shop to ensure that the area covered would be within a sensible drive time for their delivery drivers. This is an example of the level of detail that we go into to help ensure that the leaflet distribution that we undertake for our clients are not only most likely to given them good results but is also viable for their business.
The fact that the shop is reasonably close to the Blantyre area meant that the menus were distributed in both Hamilton (ML3) and Blantyre (G72).
