There were three separate leaflets, two of which were ‘specialist’ treatments aimed at men and teenagers while the third was a taster treatment menu which contained a list of some of their most popular their treatment and spa services.
Our client wanted to target two different types of people with the different leaflets so we used our Generic Demographic Data to identify the most appropriate areas into which to distribute their leaflets. This included areas where new housing has recently been built and we used knowledge gained from previous leaflet distribution jobs that we have done in the area to locate these areas which are not yet shown on a map.
We used our Regional Analysis System, along with our mapping software to identify areas in Milngavie and Bearsden where the appropriate number of each demographic type lived and used these maps to manage the distribution.
The leaflet distribution itself was fairly straightforward with the only challenge being to ensure that the leaflets were distributed into the correct areas.
