The leaflet was promoting Hutchesons’ at Pollok Park. The school caters for pre-school and primary school children. With its immediate access to Pollok Country Park it provides the ideal location for outdoor learning.
Outdoor learning is very beneficial to the pupils. Some of the many benefits include engaging children with nature, helping build confidence and improving wellbeing.
In addition to promoting the school, they were also promoting the fact that the gym hall and pitches are available for hire by local community groups.
Our client gave us a list of postal sectors where they wanted to distribute their leaflets. There was no point in distributing their leaflets to all of the residences in the sectors. Not only did we not have enough leaflets but many did not match the correct demographic profile.
We chose the areas for distribution based on a demographic analysis we had carried out for them before. This meant that we targeted areas where people most like their current clients are most likely to live.
Working in this way improves the chances of getting a good response. It also ensures that we make the most efficient use of the number of leaflets that client has to distribute.
