The fact that they are a new gym meant that we had no information on which to base a Customer Analysis so we met with out client to discuss the type of customers that they wanted to attract and which areas they wanted to target.
We were able to use our demographic systems and maps to identify the type of customer they wanted and where those people where most likely to live.
The fact that this information was based on intuition rather than had facts meant that we decided to spread the distribution over a relatively wide area to test the response rate for each area. This is a good way to manage the first leaflet distribution for a new business.
Moving forward, we will be able to tie this information to information obtained by our client from their new customers which will enable us to improve the targeting for future leaflet distribution.
In addition to distributing their leaflets, we also printed them on good quality 250gsm stock.
