We recently printed and distributed a letter on behalf of contractors working for Network Rail advising local residents of nightshift works required to improve the railway bridge at the Clyde Viaduct in Uddingston, South Lanarkshire.
This was another of a long series of letters that we have printed and distributed for this client in a number of different areas, including Barrhead, Kinning Park, Helensburgh, Ayr and many more advising local residents of various works that were being undertaken on behalf of Network Rail.
The main challenge with these jobs was that the client wanted to distribute the letters within a specific distance from where the works were taking place. We were able to do this using our specialised distribution software which allows us to calculate the number of houses that are within a specific radius from a central point. This allowed us to calculate how many letters we had to print to be able to distribute to all of the houses in the area specified by our client. Since these letters were normally advising local residents of some sort of disruption and noise, the letters were normally distributed within a radius from the location of where the work was being done.
The other different aspect of many of these jobs was that the letters were to be distributed to businesses as well as residential properties and also that we were asked to post them in prominent areas, such as supermarket notices boards.
