We continued our long-standing relationship with the contractors responsible for the works upgrading the M8, M73 and M74 motorway by distributing two letters on behalf of Scottish Roads Partnership.
Both letters were advising local residents in Coatbridge and Daldowie of a road closures and works in the respective areas. We printed and folded the letters prior to distribution to all of the residences that would potentially be affected by the works.
The main challenge of these jobs was that the client wanted to distribute the letters within an area that was specified by the on maps. We were able to do this using our mapping software to replicate the maps provided by our clients. We then used our system that calculates the number of houses and business in any area to calculate the number of letters that were required for each job.
The second challenge was calculating the number of houses that were in the Daldowie area as this contains an area in the site of the old Glasgow zoo where new housing continues to be built. We used prior knowledge of the area as well as previous GPS maps to estimate the number of houses and also to create a map of the new areas.
The letters were distributed to the correct areas and our client was pleased with the distribution and we are proud of the fact that they continue to entrust us with the distribution of this relatively sensitive information.
