Our client, who was working on behalf of North Ayrshire Council, asked us to print and then distributed a leaflet to a specific area around Blacklands Recreation Ground.
We were supplied with a map showing the area that the leaflets were to be distributed to and used our specialist software to work out how many houses were in the area. The fact that we had to distribute the leaflets to a specified area meant that this was effectively a boundary distribution.
This allowed us to print the correct number of leaflets, as well as ensuring that we had the right number of distributors on the job to ensure that it was completed in the required timescale. The leaflet was printed on reasonable quality 150gsm paper.
The leaflet was promoting the active travel in Kilwinning initiative and, in particular a proposal to improve paths through the Blacklands Recreation Ground. It was also inviting people to an event where they can talk to the team, both about this particular proposal but also about how to improve walking and cycle routs in Kilwinning.
Since this was a public consultation job, it was very important that we not only delivered the leaflet all of the households in the specified area but also that we could prove that we had done so. As is part of our standard service, we used our GPS tracking System to ensure that the leaflets had been distributed to the specified area.
