Leaflet Distributed for Sandyhills Community Council in Glasgow
We distributed a leaflet that was promoting the Sandyhills Community Council and also letting people know that they are seeking new members.
Community councils are voluntary bodies which whose role is to ascertain, co-ordinate and express the wider views of all of the people living within its agreed boundary. While they can complement the role of the local authority, they are not party political and are not part of local government.
Some of the issues that the Sandyhills Community Council are concerned with are anti-social behaviour, planning, licensing as well as other local issues.
Since Community Councils operate within specific geographic boundaries, it was very important that we distributed the leaflets within the boundary that was defined by our client.
In addition, it was important that as many people as possible in the area received the leaflet. Importantly, not only were we able to do this, we were able to prove it by providing GPS tracks showing the exact areas that were distributed to, as well and providing a list of addresses that we could not deliver the leaflet to, along with the reason why – our ethos of totally transparent reporting.
